King Solomon, the wisest and the richest man ever to walk the earth, saw the foolishness of everything man does. No matter how much wealth, fame and pleasure we chase, it all fades with time.

All is vanity. What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun? – Ecclesiastes 1:2-3

As a man comes from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return. – Ecclesiastes 5:15

We can take nothing with us, and our empty pursuits of worldly things leave us wanting more. The spirit of man longs for something greater, a deeper meaning and purpose in life.

God Loves You

You are not an accident. Your creation was celebrated before you were even born.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. – Ephesians 2:10

Before I formed you in the womb I [God] knew you, and before you were born I [God] consecrated you. – Jeremiah 1:5

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11

A loving creator carefully designed you to fulfill purpose. He has a future for you that will lead to completeness and peace, a sense of satisfaction that can only come from acting in concert with the being that created you.

The Problem

Sin is everything that works contrary to the perfection of God. At the beginning of creation, mankind was created in perfection. Sin entered the world due to man’s desire to disobey his creator.

None is righteous [good], no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one. – Romans 3:10-12

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. – 1 John 1:8

We have inherited a sinful world. The curse of this sin is the loss of immortality and the inevitability of aging and death.

The Judgment

Not only will we die, but we will face judgment after death.

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. – Hebrews 9:27

Since God is perfect, we have already been judged guilty from our very first sin. The sentence is eternal death. No matter how many good things we think we have done, they can’t make up for our sin.

If we remain in our sin, our destination after death is hell, a place of eternal torment, where we will be separated from God forever.

[The Son of Man] will cast them [the wicked] into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. – Matthew 12:42

They [the wicked] will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might. – 2 Thessalonians 1:9

The Good News

Almost 2,000 years ago, God sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth in the flesh. He was both fully man and fully God. Jesus Christ fulfilled hundreds of prophecies predicted centuries before his birth by dozens of writers that lived centuries apart.

He walked a perfect sinless path and was convicted by a world that hated and feared his message of love. After torturing Jesus, the world executed him in the most agonizing way possible, by nailing his hands and feet to a cross and waiting for him to suffocate.

But this sacrifice was not in vain. Jesus ascended into heaven and offered us the chance to not only have a personal relationship with him in this physical life but to join him in the next.

For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord – Romans 6:23

Save Your Soul Now!

If you owned a well with water that gave you immortality, would you poison the water or would you drink from it every day?

There is only one well that draws eternal life; Jesus Christ.

Jesus said to him [His Disciple, Thomas], “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. – John 14:6

Jesus Christ will transform your life. All you have to do is throw aside your doubt and believe. Accept that you have are a sinner and ask God for forgiveness.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16

For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. – Romans 10:13

Open your heart and say this prayer with me.

God, I thank you for creating me and loving me just the way I am. I know you want what is best for me. I know that I have sinned against you.

I’m not a perfect person, but I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ, your son, died for my sins. There is no condemnation in Jesus Christ. I have forgiveness, not because I deserve it, but because you loved me so much that you sent your only son to die for me.

Father, let your Spirit enter me and guide and lead me into an abundant life, full of the meaning and purpose that only you, my Creator, can give me.

In Jesus’s name I pray, Amen.
